SOUTHWEST
ASSEMBLY
You're welcome here.
ABOUT US
A CHURCH FOR
EVERYDAY PEOPLE.
Southwest Assembly is a church of everyday people learning to follow Jesus, grow together, and make Him known. Wherever you are in your faith journey, there is a place for you here.
GOD'S FAITHFULNESS.
OUR STORY.
God has been faithful through every season.
1930s
Denver First Assembly of God begins in downtown Denver.
2001
The church becomes Southwest First Assembly of God and moves to W. Eastman Place.
2012
God provides a new property, allowing Southwest to purchase and remodel its current home debt-free.
TODAY
Pastor Jim and Gina Brummett retired after years of faithful service, with Gina impacting generations through Kids Ministry. Pastor Isaac and Harmony Dunnick stepped into leadership, beginning a new season for Southwest.

Southwest continues to grow, serve, and make Jesus known in our community.
Equipping and empowering everyday people to:
KNOW THE WAY,
BELIEVE THE TRUTH,
LIVE THE LIFE,
and to always make Jesus known.

OUR VALUES
WHAT SHAPES US
ENCOUNTER
GOD'S PRESENCE
God’s presence is
our daily pursuit.
It’s personal, transformational, and, through us, made publicly known.
EXPECT WITHOUT
EXCEPTION
We believe God reveals Himself through the Scriptures. He is limitless, and there is nothing or no one beyond His reach.
EQUIP
EVERYONE
Because we believe every moment matters, we make ourselves aware and available to God who wants to be active in our lives.
EXPLORE
OUR GIFTS
We explore our gifts because the Holy Spirit wants to make His power undeniably evident in our lives and the lives of others.
EXCITED
TO SERVE
We don’t serve because we have to; we serve because we get to. There is something powerful about saying yes to Jesus.
EVERYWHERE IS OUR MISSION
